Becca Owes Me

So, I was at Becca's last week and she hands me her memory card from Seattle. I think it was a hint that she wanted me to edit her pictures. I didn't know she wanted me to edit over one hundred pictures. ;) But, no complaints since the photos were so inspiring! If it wasn't a perfect day in the city with such gorgeous skies these wouldn't have turned out the way they did. Here are only a handful but for sure my favorites.

By the way, I LOOOOVE Lightroom. Thank you again, Sarah, Becca, and Josh!

Ethan's School Photos

Today we took school photos! Yep, I did them! You can check out more photos at my other sites. Ethan actually sat for a second for me to take this photo! Cute, huh? Beautiful eyes...

Grandpa's Garden

It's been a long few weeks here at home. Not only did we start potty training in the Evans household but the little man also got sick! So we are finally back to our normal schedule and back to teaching school here at home. You can check out what we are up to at our other website Teach Well... Teach Often.

Last week we were able to go over to Grandpa's and pick our pumpkins. When the family started arriving, I hadn't seen Ethan happier in a while!

Ethan is sitting on my lap and he is going to tell you about these pictures...

Ethan and Jeremy in the truck.

Ethan and Korissa. Korissa is finding Ethan a pumpkin.

Dad and Ethan! In the truck with Dad driving.

Ethan is sitting on the pumpkin. That is Grandpa. He has dirty pants.

Thanks Lisa for taking these pictures with your Iphone! We love ya!

Coburg Anitque Faire

I had a blast yesterday with Becca. You can check out Create Well for more pictures. I can't wait! I have got huge plans for Christmas presents this year! I got some of the pieces I needed to begin at the faire!

Had fun hanging out with Becca. Our sentence for the day was, "Man that's cute!"
I took this picture for Dad. Can you believe they are painting the "real" thing white now? It use to be just the faux one were popular white. Anything to try and get a sale.
I was a little disappointed that I couldn't find any vintage clothing for me. Instead there was clothes from the late 1800s and early 1900s. So unreal to see a wedding dress from that time period. It was awesome just to see such beautiful things from so long ago...

Motorcyle Dreams

Last week we went over to Diane's of Molly Moe's Antiques in Sublimity. All of our babysitters were ill and so Ethan came with us for this family shoot. Matt, Diane's husband, has this awesome motorcycle and let Ethan ride it... with the kickstand up.

Quick Walk at the Park

So, we were given Lightroom as a gift last week. Yesterday, we had to go and buy a book so that we could even understand the new editing program. We new that it would change the way we would/could edit our business' photos. We never knew how awesome it really was until today. Dave, 150 pages into the book, says, "Let's go to the Troll bridge and take pictures." Yes. That's what we call the bridge down at the state park a few blocks from our house. Dave hasn't picked up the camera like that in several months. Knowing what that would mean, I ran into my closet, threw on "vintage" clothing, slapped blush and lipgloss on, brushed my hair, and grabbed the new parasol I got at Molly Mo's Antique Faire last weekend. The beautiful vintage umbrella was only $5! Dad would be proud! Anyway... Dave was wondering what was taking me so long. I am glad I freshened up, cause look at the result!

We came home and excitedly put the photos on the laptop. We couldn't believe what we could do with them and how fast it took! It was hard enough for me to learn Photoshop and it scares me a little to know I have to learn another program... but it will be soooo worth it!

All By Myself...

Hello, I know that I posted about my adventures at the Molly Mo's Antique Faire on my other blog but I just wanted to share more pictures with you. Go to our website and check them out. It was so fun... and the best part was meeting the coolest new friends with Becca!

Becca also found a new prop for our photo shoots and I am going to keep it a surprise. Dave's going to take me out to get photos soon and I will bring it then!

Korissa's 2nd Birthday Party

It was this princess' birthday celebration last Saturday. Jessica did an amazing job and I would have to say that it was the best birthday party I have ever been to. It was a luau theme and so cute!
Here's the princess.

She loved the sunglasses Ethan picked out for her.

They had a shell hunt. Ethan found four to take home!

They also got a chance to paint shells.

Didn't he do a good job?

Auntie Tammy gave wagon rides around the block.

Korissa opened the doll I made for her and yelled, "Baby!" It looks just like her grandma's. Check it out. Now they can play with their dolls together. ;)

He loved the party and didn't talk about anything else the whole way home!
